What is a VPAT?
A VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) is a standardized document that discloses how a product or service conforms to recognized accessibility standards - most commonly WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, and EN 301 549. Once completed, a VPAT becomes an ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report) - the filled-out, product-specific version procurement teams actually review.

The International Technology Industry Foundation (ITI) publishes four official VPAT editions - we prepare and review all of them, matched to what your buyer or regulator actually requires
VPAT WCAG Edition
General / International Use
Reports conformance against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines alone, with no reference to a specific country's law. The most common starting point for organizations outside the US or without a specific procurement mandate.
VPAT Revised Section 508 Edition
US Federal Procurement
Required for selling software, hardware, or digital content to US federal agencies. Maps conformance to the Revised Section 508 standards, which incorporate WCAG 2.0 Level AA by reference.
VPAT EU Edition
European Public Sector & EAA
Built around EN 301 549, the technical standard behind the European Accessibility Act and EU public procurement rules. Expected by public-sector buyers and increasingly by private-sector EU customers.
VPAT International Edition (INT)
Most Requested by Enterprise Buyers
Combines WCAG, Revised Section 508, and EN 301 549 into a single report - one document that satisfies US, EU, and general international reviewers at once. The edition we prepare most often for enterprise procurement.
